以评估改革开放以来中国图书情报学知识的外部影响力为目标,本文利用引文分析方法,对1978至2018年间中国图书情报学的知识输出,从学科、主题等角度进行多维分析和时序分析,以探究改革开放四十年间中国图书情报学对其他领域的影响力及其演化。研究发现,中国图书情报学知识的外部影响力具有多元、变革及融合特征。具体包括:图书情报学知识输出至多元的学科和主题,知识传播的焦点主题具有时代特征,多维知识融合塑造核心知识影响力,学科知识的外部影响力不断提升。以此为基础,提出增强图情学科外部影响力的策略,为提升学科知识贡献提供支持。图4。表4。参考文献29。

As an applied discipline, Chinese library and information science (LIS) needs to solve theoretical and practical problems within the discipline, and to promote the diffusion and adoption of disciplinary knowledge in wider fields through knowledge export, which in turn enhances the external impact of the discipline. This is an important issue that affects the development, status, and contribution of the discipline. This paper evaluates the external impact of Chinese LIS and its evolution in the background of the past 40 years of China's reform and opening up.
Since citations from outside disciplines are regarded as a valid measurement of knowledge export, this paper analyzes citations to journal articles in Chinese LIS from journal articles in other disciplines in the period of 1978 to 2018 in terms of citing disciplines, citing subjects, and cited subjects. To analyze the changes of external citations over time, this paper uses a time window of 10 years.
The results indicate that: 1) Chinese LIS articles on various subjects are cited by a variety of outside disciplines and subjects and are cited by interdisciplinary researchers with different research foci on a same topic. The diversity of citing disciplines and subjects shows the potential value of Chinese LIS for wider fields. 2) During a certain period of development of China, Chinese LIS provides knowledge base for fields in the stage of rapid development, indicating that Chinese LIS keeps pace with the times to reform knowledge creation and dissemination. 3) Chinese LIS integrates the motivation of knowledge export at discipline and subject levels to enhance knowledge integration, thus forming the domains with high external impact, such as metrics, governance, service and education of data, information, and knowledge, which gathers and enhances the external impact and promotes the knowledge contribution.
Although the external impact of Chinese LIS knowledge is enhancing over time, the current interdisciplinary knowledge export is still limited. To exert stronger knowledge impact, this paper suggests: Chinese LIS research should develop the core of disciplinary knowledge and improve research quality and innovative capacity. Additionally, Chinese LIS should broaden its research horizons, attract the frontiers of global scientific innovation, and improve its interdisciplinarity. 4 figs. 4 tabs. 29 refs. |
