      2001年,在教育部的支持下,“大学数字图书馆国际合作计划”(CADAL)项目联合全国学术图书馆开展数字化合作,致力于数字图书馆的共建共享。二十年间,全国共有841个学术图书馆参与其中,数字化合作的模式从资源共建发展到多元化共享,数字化合作的内容从大规模数字化发展到特藏库建设,数字化合作的技术探索也逐渐走向智能化。CADAL项目参与成员众多、资源全面丰富、辐射范围广泛,将分散全国的各个学术图书馆凝结成一个合作共同体,充分发挥了纽带和桥梁作用。随着数字时代的快速发展和读者需求的不断变化,2021年全国学术图书馆数字化合作升级,正式成立数字知识服务联盟,共同探索信息资源和知识资源共建共享的新型模式以及学术信息资源全面保障的解决方案。表1。参考文献33。

The China Academic Digital Associative Library (CADAL) project is one of the typical representatives of academic digital libraries in China. It began with the China-US Million Book Digital Library Project,and is also an important part of the Universal Digital Library Project. With the great investment of China and the full cooperation of academic libraries,CADAL has finally built into a digital library with more than 28 million electronic resources in Chinese and English,which is beneficial to the world. The success of CADAL is the result of the persistent joint efforts of 841 academic libraries in China and 40 libraries in Asia,North America and Europe. In the past 20 years,CADAL has given full play to its role as a link and a bridge. The mode of digital cooperation has developed from resource co construction to diversified sharing. The content of digital cooperation has developed from large scale digitalization to high quality special collection. The technological exploration of digital cooperation is gradually becoming intelligent. Digital collaboration has yielded many fruits
With the rapid development of the digital age and the changing needs of readers,the digital cooperation of CADAL was upgraded and the Digital Knowledge Service Alliance was officially established in 2021. The alliance is committed to exploring a new model of co construction and sharing of information resources and knowledge resources,as well as a solution to the comprehensive guarantee of academic information resources. The alliance will focus on four aspects and build a new platform of knowledge as a service(KAAS):digital retrospective of books,permanent preservation of digital resources,digital new books procurement and digital knowledge services. On the one hand,the digital knowledge service platform provides knowledge services for readers,and on the other hand,it opens up the upstream and downstream of the publishing industry supply chain—publishers,libraries and readers,and truly realizes the connection between libraries and publishers,libraries and libraries,readers and books,books and books. And then,it will promote the structural reform of book publishing and services,form an integrated development model of information chain sharing,data chain linkage,and industrial chain collaboration
From the digital cooperation of CADAL to the Digital Knowledge Service Alliance,academic libraries of China have realized the upgrade from co construction and sharing to collaboration and integration,from resource digitization to the entire life cycle of knowledge services,and from the digital library to the smart library. The development of CADAL shows that the construction of China's academic digital library begins with the digitization of academic resources,but the business has already broken through the scope of traditional document services. Its management model is transforming from process driven to data driven. Its service content is transforming from digital resource service to digital knowledge service. Its cooperation model is changing from resource co construction to ecological co construction,capability sharing,and process collaboration. 1 tab. 33 refs
