| Accompanied with the radical increase of information and wealth of man, the library world is now confronted with the challenge of time. A director of the library will consequently be far behind if he handles his work merely by the virtue of his good intentions and experiences. He has to know well the theory and technique of time management, besides. The chief items of time management are:the 4D law, the exception law, the negative law, etc. as well as those techniques derived from these laws.
