| Abstract: |
| The Chinese provincial library undertakings has made an outstanding improvement in the nineties. The provincial libraries, as its backbone, should sum up the 40-year experiences of library construction, and according to the orientation of "developing information resources,serving the four modernizations", should go on with deepening reform, strengthen the central libraries capability of cooperation and coordination, and try hard to stress the local distinctive features. Furthermore, library management should be strenthened,library functions be intensified and the scope of library services be widened so that the library services will develop towards a high level of providing informations and policy decisions.ref.2 |
