| Libraries should at present strengthen their functions of education and information transfer.Efforts must be made as follows:1)reinforcing its own infrastructure ;2)starting training courses of different types by means of making full use of library documents and materials to teach readers science and technology as well as document retrival and document utilization ;3)strengthening lateral social ties to disseminate informations actively;4)devoting great efforts to publicizing the library and its work and 5)enhancing interlibrary connections and cooperations.11refs. |
