| Abstract: |
| There will be 4 trends of periodical management and study in the days to come. They are:more emphasis will be put on cooperation and coordination；more attention will be paid to the application of new techniques based on computer, and great development will take place in the field of abstract and index services,access and various kinds of on-line network systems; personnel training and management will be more seriously taken;more stress will be laid on the study of systematic theory of periodicals. 6 refs.
