| Abstract: |
| The author analyses statistically the outgoing papers. authears and citations of the"Journal of Library Science in China"for the past 4 years. There were altogether 264 outgoing papers published during those year, and the author of them were 219，thus, the average annual papers published were 66 and the average paper citations were 5. 04，among which the rate of self—citation was 11%. The Journal，in the main，reflects the latest and the highest level of library science research work and gives both its play to the guidance of scientific research and its impetus to the development of the library undertakings. 10 tabs .15 refs. |
