Abstract:
The paper gives a brief account of the changy from quality towards the integration of quality with quantity in library research and library work. It also discusses the problems confronting the development and deepening of the quantitative methodology and goes further into the ways and menans to develop the qualitative methodology and the new area of the possible expansion and application.
