Abstract:
The library as a traditional member with a long history of teh information industry appears comparatively quiet while the information industry is in rapid development at present. The reasons of this situation are: 1)The limitations of system of organization，technical equipment，quality of persunnel，funds，the ability of management and administration，etc;2) limitations of insufficient social demands for information，imperfect mechanism of information market，the structure of the industry, etc. The ways to deal with it that ,the library should adorp are to: 1)emancipate the mind，reform energetically, raise the level of the overall management. Imaprove the quality of personnel, face the market, sharpen the ability of management and administration, actively strve for the policy inclination and the economic support of the government.
