Abstract:
Both are reference books of high quality with the nature of indexes. lnrespect of the scope of inclusion，the former includes newspapers and periodicals of almost all the categories of social sciences while the latter lays particulat stress on popular journals. The former is arranged in categories of disciplines .and the latter is put together according to subject matter. Both have lists of cited periodicals and are similar in retrieval function to authors except that different retrievals are used because bf,their different structures of systems.
