| Abstract: |
| The appraisement or evaluation of libraries at levels above county level was the first in the past 45 years. The Chinese library has been notably fruitful, but still there are weak links that allow no ignorance: 1) both the depth and the scope of library services are not enough; 2) the basic professional work needs a further strengthening. The appraisal work was set by departments responsible for the cultural work as a system of managing the library. |
