Abstract:
The "sediments" of the Chinese book subscription record usually refer to "book arrival sediments" and "book floating sediments".Though an investigation on the Chinese book subscription record of an engineering college library in Nanjing,it shows that the arrival rate is only 70% and it will be going on like this. So, acquisition librarians should take effective countermeasures against it.
