| The functions of library change with the development of social intellectual culture.Library in the information age should actively participate in the operation of social culture, and do more things in cultural production instead of cultural consumption.Librarians should study the cultural directions and enable library science to have higher theoretical standard.Besides, they should study regional cultures and promote deeper and wider understanding of the world.3 refs.
