| Abstract: |
| It should be a new economic development strategy for Macao to develop high technology industry based on information industry,replacing labour intensity with technology intensity. Information technology should be applied to enhance the development of four major traditional industries; information service industry and telecommunication industry should be developed; high technology parks should be built; general cooperation with the mainland and regional cooperation with Zhujiang River Delta should be strengthened. 1 tab.13 refs.
