| The emergence of virtual libraries offers new opportunities for the further development of traditional libraries.The two are complementary and not replaceable.However, traditional libraries have to change themselves in the following aspects: from the development of document resources to the development of information resources, from document delivery to information navigation, from a traditional organisation management model to a new model suitable to virtual libraries.4 refs. |
