| Since the 1990s, the emergence and development of virtual library have been paid close attention to, and many studies have been made. There have been different viewpoints concerning the definitions and characteristics of virtual library, and its relationship with electronic library, digital library and traditional library. Now, virtual libraries are developing in Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and in U.K. and U.S.A. 1 tab. 26 refs. |
