Abstract:
Electronic documents are inevitable products of the formation, development and evolution of document media in the information age. In this paper, the author summarizes the characteristics both of electronic media and paper media, and thinks that they are complementary and can coexist in the twenty-first century. 6 refs.

      电子文献是信息社会文献载体形成、发展、进化的必然产物。它具有信息存储量大、使用方便、图文声像并茂、获取快、更新快等特征,而观念与阅读习惯使人们更愿意接受纸质文献。21世纪将是纸质文献与电子文献互为补充、彼此并存,在竞争中共存共荣的时代。参考文献6。
