| Abstract: |
| The author thinks that the key to transform digital library from information management to knowledge management is knowledge organization, i.e. to organize acquired information resources according to certain knowledge systems. By using integration classification systems, subject thesauri and semantic metadata, we can realize the knowledge organization of digital library. The author also introduces VISION, which is a prototypical system based on Classified Chinese Thesaurus. 2 figs. 4 refs. |
