| The author thinks that the researches on subject information retrieval application databases are the key for the development of digital library. At present, the researches on the technologies of subject information retrieval application databases are reflected in two aspects, i. e. the researches on the applications of XML relational databases and the information description and subject retrieval of XML MARC. 30 refs. |
