Abstract:
Nowadays, when physical information resources and networked information resources coexist, the objects of cataloging should be changed from the ones at the levels of item and manifestation to the ones at the higher levels of expression and work according to the Functional Requirements for Bibliographic Records, and cataloging rules and MARC formats should also be transformed accordingly. 1 tab. 4 figs. 10 refs.
