Abstract:
In the networked environment, collaborative digital reference has the nature of quasi-public goods. In their collaboration, member libraries put emphasis on the complementary work in information resources, human resources and technological resources. The costs of the collaboration can be divided into costs for information acquisition and management, labor costs and time costs. The authors think that we should establish internal compensation mechanisms in management, personnel, technological and legal aspects. 2 refs.
