| Abstract: |
| IFLA expresses its recognition and welcome to the Geneva Declaration on the Future of WIPO. IFLA urges WIPO to address the issues of the imbalance in intellectual property laws, the monopoly on information, the technological protection measures,the widening of the digital divide and the Free Trade Agreements. IFLA urges WIPO and the WTO to work together to adopt a totally new approach to intellectual property worldwide, taking into account the very different needs of developed and developing countries. 4 refs. |
