Abstract:
IFLA Division IV consists of Bibliography Section, Cataloguing Section, Classification and Indexing Section, and Knowledge Management Section. Their activities are directed towards the improved exchange of bibliographic data through the standardization of practice in the construction of bibliographic record systems. The Division IV works closely with the ICABS and the MARC programmes. The international community of bibliographic control is extremely actively these years. Some new rules and codes will be released in the next few years, and AACR will also be updated according the concepts of FRBR. 3 refs.

      国际图联书目控制部由书目组、编目组、分类和标引组、知识管理组组成。其工作目的是在书目记录系统的构建过程中通过规范化的实践来改善书目数据的交换。书目控制部与国际图联-国家图书馆馆长会议书目标准联盟和MARC计划有着密切合作。国际书目控制界异常活跃,目前正在讨论中的许多新规则和标准将在近几年出台,并根据FRBR的思想对《英美编目条例》进行修订。参考文献3。
