| Digital collection development policy, also called electronic collection development policy, is a series of principles, standards and regulations of library concerning the evaluation, selection, acquisition and utilization of electronic information resources. Its basic framework is： （1） practical and objective basis for policy making; （2）various specific policies, including acquisition policy, budget allocation policy, collection development profile, collection management policy, collection preservation policy, collection evaluation policy, and cooperation collection and resource sharing policy. 2 tabs. 14 refs. |
