| The author thinks that differences in library cataloging will exist for a long period of time, and we should have a rational attitude toward them. The three symbols in library cataloging have the same forms and different meanings. Objectiveness, standardization and logicality are the three basic principles in library cataloging, which are reflected in modern and ancient cataloging theories and practices. 1 tab. 9 refs. |
