In this article， the author summarizes the following characteristics of Journal of Library Science in China： leading right academic directions， guiding good styles of academic researches， and keeping high quality．
中文摘要:
      说《中国图书馆学报》办得有“格”，其意是说它办得格调高远。高格之意有三：一是它严格按社会、学术事物发展规律办刊，引领图书馆事业按健康方向发展；二是它几十年如一日，端端正正办刊，匡正时俗，引导学风；三是刊物风格朴实宽厚，不徇情，不降格，保持了学术的高标准、高水平。
