| Abstract: |
| Mr. Zhou Heping, Vice Minister of Culture, gave a speech at the Third National Joint Meeting of Digital Library Development and Services in January 2008. He thinks that we should put emphasis on digital library development, citizen’s cultural cultivation development, and intellectual supports for economic and social development. The present tasks include cooperation and resource sharing. He also proposes to improve the mechanisms of the joint meeting, to provide services to all citizens, to strengthen the cooperation in resource development and sharing, standard drafting, and technical exchange and staff training, and to pay attention to the copyright issues. |

| 2008年1月，文化部副部长周和平在第三次全国数字图书馆联席会议上发表讲话，讲话中要求图书馆界加快推进数字图书馆建设，提高全民素质，为经济社会发展提供智力支撑；指出加强合作，共建共享，是当前我国数字图书馆建设面临的紧迫任务；强调要精诚团结，齐心协力，大力开展务实合作。并就进一步完善联席会议机制，积极开展面向全社会的服务，进一步加强资源建设、整合与共享，积极开展标准规范的制定、技术交流与人才培养方面的合作，以及加强有关版权处理问题的协调、合作等方面，发表了意见和指示。 |
