| Abstract: |
| Rationality is the inner core of science, and science is the outer look of rationality. At present, library science in China is at the stage of metaphysics, and cannot be regarded as an independent science. The reason is the lack of the spirit of rationality in library science in China. The abstractness, theoretical construction and research methods of a scientific library science should be controlled by rationality, which can be divided into ontological rationality, epistemological rationality, value rationality and methodological rationality. 29 refs. |

| 理性是科学的内核，科学是理性之外现。目前，我国图书馆学尚处于形而上学阶段，与具有独立学科意义的科学尚存在一定距离，其根本原因在于我国图书馆学研究中缺乏理性精神。科学图书馆学的抽象性、理论构建及其研究方法，都需要理性来把握。理性分为本体理性、认知理性、价值理性、方法理性四个层次。科学图书馆学也应从这四个方面去构建。参考文献29。 |
