Abstract:
The author thinks that education in library science is a specialized education and should be integrated with library practices. He points out some problems in present education in library science, such as old contents, bad practice conditions, imperfect practice environments, lack of practical experiences of teachers, etc. He then proposes some recommendations, such as clarifying objectives and directions, updating education contents, cultivating students professional interest, professional awareness and practical abilities, establishing practical mechanisms for teachers, and promoting the integration of education in library science and practices in libraries. 10 refs.

      图书馆学教育是专门性、针对性、实践性、应用性极强的专业教育,必须与图书馆实践相结合。目前的图书馆学教育,存在教学内容滞后、实践条件有限、实践环节不完善、教师缺乏实践训练等问题。应当明确教育目标和方向,不断更新教育内容,培养学生的专业兴趣、职业精神和实践能力,建立教师实践机制,以促进图书馆学教育与实践的结合。参考文献10。
