Abstract:
There are ten trends of information services in the networked environment, including the changes of service conception from information centered to user centered, service objectives from information resources to problem solving, service objects from the public to specific markets, service contents from information services to knowledge services, service patterns from unitary to diversified ones, service personnel from special to cross disciplinary one, service environments from physical to virtual ones, service time from limited to unlimited one, user roles from passive to active ones, and user experiences from functional to experiential ones. 1 fig. 20 refs.
