Abstract:
The release of“National Collection Coordination Plan”in 1957 and the establishment of“Book Group”in National Science and Technology Planning Committee enabled the Chinese librarianship to develop in planned, coordinated and resource sharing ways. It also promoted the training of library professionals and the development of Chinese librarianship in late 1950s and early 1960s. 5 refs.
