| Abstract: |
| Based on bibliometric and statistical analysis of articles of SSCI journals from 2000 and 2009 in terms of word frequency analysis and citation analysis, the paper explores the quantitative and qualitative characteristics and research trends of library science and information science in the international context from the distribution of publishing years，countries/regions，languages，research institutions，authors and keywords. The general situation and international status of library and information research of mainland China are also reported. The limitations of this research lie in the emphasis on analysis of formal features of articles and lack of analysis of content and the some subjectivity of research methods. 2 figs. 11 tabs. 19 refs. |

| 对2000—2009年SSCI收录的图书情报学研究性论文进行词频分析、引文分析等文献计量分析和描述统计分析。从年度、国家/地区、语种、研究机构、作者以及关键词分布等角度，结合相关文献，采用定量和定性的方法客观地揭示了近十年来国际上图书情报学研究的基本态势以及我国大陆地区图书情报学研究的国际地位。本研究的局限性在于偏向论文形式特征的分析，缺乏内容分析，且研究方法带有一定的主观性。图2。表11。参考文献19。 |
