| Abstract: |
| Mr. Hong Yu-Feng (Fanwu) is one of the main activists of Chinese “New Library Movement” in the 1920s and the forerunner of modern library cause of China. This article summarizes the research work on Hong's lifetime, and makes an elaboration upon Hong's thoughts about library organization and management, classification research and literature communication. This article also makes a summary of Hong's library practices, such as the construction of southeast university library's new building and the extensional construction of Tsinghua university library's building, and his efforts on enriching library collections, cataloguing and library openness and services. We also make a discussion on Hong's remarkable contributions to the modern library cause of China from the aspects of education, talents cultivation, guiding and supporting younger scholars, and other social activities. 25refs. |

| 洪范五是20世纪20年代我国新图书馆运动的主要活动家之一,是中国现代图书馆事业的先驱。本文在调研相关资料的基础上,介绍洪范五的生平,并从图书馆组织和管理、分类研究和文献交流等方面阐述他的图书馆学思想,从新建东南大学馆舍和扩建清华大学馆舍,充实藏书、编制目录,重视开放和服务,制定规章制度等方面总结他的图书馆实践活动,从重视教育和人才培养、提携后学、投身社会活动等方面论述他对推动中国现代图书馆事业发展所做的贡献。参考文献25。 |
