Journal of Library Science in China among the First Journals to Won Academic Support by National Social Science Foundation in China

On June 21 2012, the National Planning Office of Philosophy and Social Science announced the first batch of journals supported by National Social Science Foundation, Journal of Library Science in China is included in the list.

Journal of Library Science in China is a comprehensive academic journal in the field of Library and Information Science, since its first publication in 1957, it insisted on publishing discoveries in LIS and promoting knowledge innovation, in the guidance of previous editorials, and in the support of vast authors, it published influential researches of large number and made due contributions to the promotion of Chinese LIS studies and the development of library career.

The support from National Social Science Foundation provides further support for JLIS to enhance its academic quality. We will keep the characteristics of theory, frontier and in-depth practical studies, continue to strictly regulate the published academic achievements, continue with the double-blind peer review process, and further promote international exchanges and cooperation in Chinese LIS studies.
