| It's a painstaking effort to collect the private collections of ancient books and records. Before the invention of printed books ,the key way for the collectors to get books and records was the official grant from the gorernmet And copying was the main style for the collectors through the ages，especially before the Song Dynsty,to acquire them. After the Tang and Song Dynasties , especially during the Ming and Qing，purchase became the main channel. |
