      以1994年以来图书馆学杂志上公开发表的公共图书馆评估总结材料为分析对象，采用话语分析方法，分析了图书馆职业话语对“公共图书馆服务”及“图书馆服务效益”的意义建构。研究发现，对于“公共图书馆服务”，1994年以来的评估总结话语继续凸显“面向普通公众的借借还还”及“面向政府和企事业单位的信息开发、编辑、传递”的意义。对于“图书馆服务效益”，评估总结话语首先将“社会效益”建构为图书馆服务的范围和数量（如开馆时间长）；将“经济效益”建构为图书馆对财富创造的贡献。本文认为，这样的意义建构由于排除了很多重要意义，已经在我们的职业中留下了美国图书馆学家维根德所说的管状视野和盲点（tunnel vision and blind spots）。图1。表1。参考文献12。
英文摘要:
This paper applies discourse analysis to a group of published papers that review regional library services following the “Library Assessment” conducted by the Ministry of Culture in 1994, 1998 and 2003. It shows that these discursive events have consistently constructed the meaning of public library services as “providing lending and reading services to the general public and providing information services to government, business and institutions”. They have also consistently constructed “the impact of public library services” as “making service available and contributing to economic growth”. This paper argues that, in leading us to see the reality of the public library in light of such meanings, these discursive events have also created what Wiegand called the “tunnel vision and blind spots” in our understanding of public library services. 1 fig. 1 tab. 12 refs.
