以科研与环境的互动为视角,对国内外iSchools院校的科研布局进行多维对比分析。对全球75位iSchools院校决策人员进行深度访谈,根据三段式编码和共现分析,归纳iSchools院校的10大科研布局领域、5项核心社会贡献、25个合作学科领域、10类合作社会主体、12项发展机遇和16项发展挑战,总结我国与亚太、欧洲和北美iSchools院校的显著共性与差异。研究发现,作为科研领域的图书馆学及作为合作社会主体的图书馆在iSchools院校的科研布局中仍然占据主导地位,整个领域的跨学科研究趋势更加鲜明,但仍缺乏更富有直接影响力和高显示度的核心社会贡献。未来我国信息资源管理学科需继续坚持守正创新,在强化传统优势领域的同时,结合实际应用场景,深化与相关学科的交叉融合,丰富合作的学科领域,密切与头部企业单位的社会联系。同时,充分利用iSchools联盟平台,深化国际合作,应对共同挑战,提升学科的社会声誉和影响力。图5。参考文献21。

This study compares the research distribution of iSchools in China and abroad,examining various aspects from the perspective of interactions between scientific research and social environment. The goal is to inform the planning of research distribution,strengthen social connections,take advantage of opportunities,and enhance the social influence of iSchools in China. The study conducted in depth interviews with 75 iSchools leaders worldwide. Based on a three step coding process and co occurrence analysis,this study synthesized 10 key themes of iSchools research:information management,library science,informatics + scenarios,digital humanities,data science,information technology,archival studies,media studies,bibliometrics,and knowledge management. Additionally,it identified 5 core social contributions:providing social services,promoting scientific development,encouraging interdisciplinary research,enhancing the reputation of disciplines,and cultivating disciplinary features. The study also identified 25 cooperative disciplines,including arts,humanities,social sciences,communication,linguistics,education,law,policy,economics,tourism,psychology,philosophy,history,chemistry,engineering,environmental studies,agriculture,health,medicine,information technology,computer science,data science,statistics,nursing,and museum studies. Furthermore,it outlined 10 types of cooperative social partners:enterprises,the IT industry,the European Union,local public sectors,research funding agencies,legal institutions,hospitals,archives,museums,and libraries. Additionally,12 development opportunities were identified:librarian licenses,sustainable development,the importance of libraries,government support,information as strategy resource,social connections,IT development,demand for information professionals,competitive funding,interdisciplinary trends,university support,and IT ethics. Lastly,16 development challenges were identified,including data monopolization,the closure of library schools,collaboration versus competition,economic downturns,encroachment from other disciplines,rapid social changes,the job market,lack of association support,lack of industrial support,limited public budgets,low birth rates,lack of professional requirement,rigid policies,social awareness,social stigma,and university interference. The study discovered both similarities and differences between iSchools in China and those in Asia-Pacific,Europe,and North America. It found that library science as a research area and libraries as a key social connection still take a dominant position among the whole research distribution of iSchools. The interdisciplinary trend has become stronger. However,there is a lack of direct influence and highly recognizable contributions from iSchools to society. In the future,iSchools in China need to stick to their traditions while innovating in research. They should reinforce the traditional strong areas and deepen the integration with other disciplines through scenarios based research to expand cooperation with diverse partners. They should also build close connections with influential enterprises while taking full advantage of the iSchools organization to strengthen international cooperation,respond to shared challenges,and increase the reputation and influence of the field as a whole. 5 figs. 21 refs.
