      信息资源管理与设计学的学科交叉融合由来已久,贯穿了前者从信息构建领域向用户体验设计领域不断拓展的全部过程,已经孕育出设计信息学这一新兴交叉领域,在全球多所高校的信息、设计或工程院/系的实践探索下形成了领域雏形。在“新文科”建设背景下,本文立足信息资源管理学科,融合本学科和设计学的经典理论模型,构建以用户为中心的设计信息学概念框架,反映“人本数据驱动设计”这一核心思想,并且提出由“大信息观”“大设计观”“大服务观”组成的设计信息学创新发展观体系。针对当前人工智能系统应用中的关键挑战,展望设计信息学的潜在议题,旨在为该领域的未来发展提供清晰的顶层设计与扎实的理论遵循,丰富中国信息资源管理自主知识体系。图2。参考文献60。
英文摘要:
This paper proposes that design informatics is an emerging interdisciplinary field developed through the long standing convergence of information resource management (IRM) and design studies,with the focus of convergence gradually shifting from information architecture touser experience design. The early formation of design informatics has been driven by experimental practices within information,design,and engineering schools or departments at universities worldwide. In the context of the “new liberal arts” initiative,this study approaches design informatics based on the fundamental idea of human centered,data driven design.
The most significant contribution of this study is the construction of a conceptual framework for design informatics that combines the DIKW hierarchy from IRM with the user centered design (UCD) process from design studies. IRM provides essential user insights by enabling multi dimensional observation and profound understanding of user activities. This is structurally reflected in the “data” and “information” layers of the framework,which concentrate respectively on capturing and identifying patterns in users behavioral,psychological,and physiological signals. The core of the framework lies in the deep fusion of “knowledge” between IRM and design studies to generate “wisdom” during the ideation,formulation,and evaluation phases of the UCD process,characterized by establishing strategies for satisfying user needs,adapting to user preferences,and responding to user feedback as well as incorporating these strategies into the creation of actionable blueprints,testable prototypes,and deliverable final products respectively.
Furthermore,this study contributes an innovative developmental system for design informatics. First,a “grand perspective of informatics” advocates more extensive interdisciplinary integration with both engineering and technology oriented disciplines and the humanities and social sciences. Second,a “grand perspective of design” emphasizes the interconnection of the physical,epistemic,and spiritual realms to expand the scope of design,while elevating design goals from satisfying basic human needs to supporting self actualization. Third,a “grand perspective of service” addresses major national strategic priorities by utilizing inclusive design to expand service accessibility and sustainable design to promote the long term viability of services.
Representing the philosophical principles of techno humanism,design informatics demonstrates substantial potential for advancing human AI interaction research and addressing key challenges associated with the design of analytical,generative,and embodied artificial intelligence systems. This paper provides top level guidance and a solid theoretical foundation for the future development of the field,aiming to enrich the autonomous knowledge system of China's IRM. 2 figs. 60 refs.
