本文采用历史研究法和比较研究法,全面阐述近年来中国智慧图书馆建设的现状和20世纪以来全球图书馆采编的发展历史,认为中国国家图书馆主导的全国智慧图书馆体系建设、广东省立中山图书馆自主研发的采编图灵和超星公司研发的AI馆员智能体是全球智慧图书馆建设的三个先导示范标杆。系统梳理20世纪以来图书馆采编技术经历的卡片目录、机读目录和都柏林核心三次技术革命的历史分期,认为采编图灵具有开图书馆智慧赋能之先声和集图书馆采编技术之大成的鲜明特色,是图书馆采编从数字化转向智慧化第四次人工智能技术革命的先导,值得大力推广应用。参考文献13。

CaiBian Turing is the world first full process intelligent operating system for library acquisition,classification and cataloging,independently developed by Sun Yat sen Library of Guangdong Province,China. Adopting historical and comparative research methods,this paper comprehensively explores the current status of smart library development in China and the global evolutionary history of library acquisition and cataloging technologies since the 20th century. It identifies three leading demonstration benchmarks for global smart library construction from the perspectives of national level planning and development,independent research and development by libraries,and commercial development by enterprises:1）the national smart library system led by the National Library of China,which marks that China has taken the lead in initiating the framework construction and practical exploration of a national smart library system,becoming an era defining milestone in the global transition of libraries from networked and digital development toward smart transformation；2）the self developed CaiBian Turing system of Sun Yat sen Library of Guangdong Province,which makes pioneering efforts in the development of smart library application scenarios；and 3）the AI Librarian Agent developed by Superstar,which has become a model of generative AI application in the global library community.
This paper also proposes a historical staging of technological evolution,suggesting that library acquisition and cataloging technologies have undergone three major technological revolutions since the 20th century,namely the card catalog,Machine Readable Cataloging （MARC）,and Dublin Core,corresponding respectively to the first manual technology revolution in library acquisition and cataloging,shifting practices from liberalization to standardization；the second computer technology revolution,moving from standardization to fully standardized automation；and the third digital technology revolution,evolving from automation to digitalization.
This study concludes that as a pioneering achievement in the intelligent empowerment of library services and an epitome of state of the art technologies for library acquisition and cataloging,CaiBian Turing has enabled libraries to achieve automated,machine based operations across the entire workflow and has further advanced library acquisition and cataloging technologies toward end to end intelligent system integration. CaiBian Turing spearheads the fourth artificial intelligence driven technological revolution that transforms library cataloging practices from digitalization to intellectualization,and is worthy of large scale promotion and application across the library community. 13 refs.
