| 1992 is the year of the 80th birth anniversary of the National Library of China. The paper presents all-sidely but briefly the Library s history and status quo. With a collection of 16 million volumes and pieces, the library finds itself now in a central and pivotal position of the work of library automation, network and standardization. The large-scale computer of general management system has already been operated and the disc system has also been introduced in the library. |
