| The book’‘Bibliometric" compiled and written by Qiu Junping was published in 1988 containing a totle number of about 330 thousands Chinese words. It is characterized by its scientific and systematic nature，its brevity，novelty and practicability. This monograph is of great value to promote development from qualitative towatds quantitative orientation in the field of library and information science. An’‘Excellent Work" Price was awarded to the book by the China Society of Library Science in 1989.
