| Dr. Hu Shuzhao was born in 1928 in Jiangxi Province, China, and is now the head of the Department of Library Science, University of Taiwan, Director of the Institute of Library Science and a tutor of the master's degree class. He had success-sively studied at 10 universities and got 7 academic degrees. 9 treaties and more than 90 papers have been published. He is, at present, participating in and promoting both banks of the Taiwan Strait to work out the "Summary of General Bibliograpy of the Chinese Local Chronicals". He is the man who had flied across teh Yu Pass (Shanhai Pass) to erect the "hot line" and who has searched after rich book knowledge to work out painstakingly the new creative writing. 2 ills. |
