| Up to the end of 1993,China had altogether published 14741 reference books,several score of monographs and 4074 articals,thus forming a compilation contingent of about 2000 perple.From now on ,we should try hard to :develop the compilation and publication in sychronism with the theoretical study,strengthen the study of social demand and social beneficial results of Chinese reference books,pay close attention to the function of book review and lastly,perfect the control mechanism of compilation and publication.On the basis of checking omissions,supplying the lack and filing in the lacks ,we should be devoted to the compilation and publication of reference books that the most people are badly in need of .3 tabs.20 refs. |
