| The "Chinese Classified subject Thesaurus"with its integration of classification and subject indexing is China's first large-scale comprehensive indexing retrieval device.The throries of the international retrieval language studies were adopted in process of its compilation that integrated the forty-year research achivements of classified subject indexing as an organicwhole,thus both the structure itself and the indexing functions are of an advanced and dyanmic nature as well as adaptability .The compilation and publication of it will accelerate the establishment of computer-based classified subject retrieval system and will promote the formation of china's computer-based classified subject automatic indexing and the information retrieval system network.2 ills.5 refs. |
