| Literature exchange has fairly good social benefits and economic benefits,e. g. 60% books of the U. S. National Agricultural Library are acquired by way of exchange, one third of the foreign books in the beijing Forestry University Library are also acquired in the same way. The whole text falls into 4 parts: a general view of literature exchange; social benefits; economic benefits and necessary measures. 1 tab. 3 refs.
