During 1949-95, 143 titles of books on indexing languages were published in China, among which works on classified indexing languagesaccount for 66.4% and publications of the Bibliography & Document Publishing House account for the greatest proportion. The author analyses indicators and citations for 11 representative works. 9 tabs. 9 refs.
