| The authors make a survey of the digital reference services in 46 public libraries in China andget the following results: there are 33 libraries (71%) providing such services, and their major servicepatterns are e-mail service and real-time query-auswering service. Their service types include expert referenceservice, FAQ and document delivery service, and their service resources are network information resourcesand library collections. 4 tabs. 6 refs. |
