| Metadata play an indirect role in resource discovery. The direct effect of the application ofmetadata is the rational and hierarchical organization of network resources, and the structured organizationdirectly promotes the discovery and utilization of resources. We should pay special attention to thetrustfulness, interoperability, granularity and element extendibility in the discovery and application of Chineseeducational resources. 2 figs. 14 refs. |
