| The development of Journal of Library Science in China reflects common development trends of journals in library science in China： hosts from government departments to professional institutions and again to academic organizations, and contents from information provision to practical and theoretical studies．In this paper，the author also analyzes the characteristics of the journal， such as wide author group， librarianship related contents and the integration of forms and contents． |
