| Modern Chinese libraries emerged with the combination of Western library thoughts
and ancient Chinese private libraries. Libraru journals in early modern China emerged to meet the needs of new-styled libraries and library science, and played important roles in the dissemination and research of advanced library thoughts, library theories and practices, and the development of modern librarianship. Recently, the Beijing Library Press complied major early for Chinese library jour-

| 中国近代图书馆是在西方图书馆思想和中国古代藏书楼物质的双重基础上诞生的。它与旧式藏书楼有着根本区别。近代图书馆馆刊,是为了适应新式图书馆和图书馆学的发展之需出现的,在宣传先进图书馆思想、研究图书馆学理论和图书馆业务、揭示馆藏、交流经验,促进近代图书馆事业发展方面发挥了很大作用。北京图书馆出版社已将中国近代重要的图书馆刊编为《近代著名图书馆馆刊荟萃》出版。参考文献4。 |
